About our Student Activities

○ Chapel: All students are given the opportunity each Wednesday to participate in student-led chapel services. Here, students can choose to sing, pray, share scripture, play an instrument, or testify about a blessing in their life. All age levels are welcome to share, and this provides a safe platform on which to grow and lead in churches and communities.

○ Regional Student Convention: Students in 7th -12 th grade attend an annual Regional Student Convention over a one-week period. Here, students from several regional states compete against each other in a large variety of options, including color guard, preaching, public speaking, academics, research exhibits, singing, playing instruments, sports activities, Bible memorization, and drama, just to name a few. They are also allowed to attend an International Convention where students from all over the world compete and are exposed to cultures different than their own.

○ Merit Store: Students earn Merit for good grades, neatness, great behavior, and exemplifying Christlike behavior. Every 6 weeks, students are given the opportunity to spend these Merits in the school store for a fun reward!

○ Field Trips and Assemblies: CCA plans and provides a variety of field trips, as well as learning assemblies at the school (Constitution Day, Veterans, Fire Safety Week, Arkansas Game and Fish, Earth Day/seed planting, Career Day, and more).

○ Drama Club, Spanish Club, and Yearbook Club

○ Volunteering: As a school, we participate in service projects. Every Christmas, the students and staff also pick a project to give to.
